Apple confirmed on October 4, 2011 that the company's iPhone product will be sold through another operator, KDDI, in Japan, according to the Japan Today. Softbank has been the only operator in Japan to sell Apple's iPhone and iPad products since 2008. It is reported that both KDDI phone stores and Softbank outlets will starting selling the latest iPhone model on October 14, 2011.
